Bear Tracking Mini-break

Our fantastic bear tracking mini-break combines a stay in the fascinating city of Bucharest and the thrill of looking for bears in their natural habitat. First you'll travel through the beautiful Transylvanian country landscape to the charmingly quaint medieval town of Brasov, where you will check into your cosy pension before visiting the Bear Hide to observe brown bears in the wild and the sunsets. The following morning you will visit the outdoor Bear Sanctuary which houses 68 bears in 79 hectares of lush Romanian countryside before returning to Brasov to relax and explore at your leisure. The next day you'll return to Bucharest but not before turning your hand at Bear Tracking where you will no only track bears but learn all on the tricks of the trade. Bucharest offers the opportunity to explore the city's interesting past and enjoy the lively nightlife of this fast evolving city. 

Brasov Bear Tracking

Our fantastic bear tracking experience and offers the thrill of observing for bears in their natural habitat. Bucharest City Break (3 nights)

Untravelled Paths 3 night break to Bucharest offers a great insight into this fascinating city. Bucharest is today a stunning contrast with the remnants of its communist past mixed with the impressive grand architecture that earned Bucharest the nickname "Little Paris". From the moment your executive car meets you at the airport to the moment it takes you back again you will feel relaxed and looked after. This fantastic trip includes a guided tour round the historic centre, Lipscani, as well as visits to the intimidating People's Palace, which looms large over the city and to either the excellent Peasant / Village Museums, depending on the weather! After a long day exploring the city you'll be able to put your feet up and relax at one of our lovely, centrally located preferred hotels in the heart of the Lipscani district.

Dracula Castle Break

The Untravelled Paths Dracula's Castle city break will take you to the heart of Transylvania, the home of Dracula. You will visit the legendary Bran Castle, a fortified outpost which housed Vlad the Impaler from time to time during his reign which is every bit the depiction of the eerie castle that housed the infamous count Dracula in the 1897 novel by Irish author Bram Stoker. After you'll be able to get your fangs into a hearty traditional Romanian lunch, which will prepare you for the walk up to the picturesque, crumbling ruins of Rasnov Fortress which provides stunning panoramic views. Once you have checked in to your cosy hotel in Brasov you'll have the rest of the day to yourselves to explore this charming medieval town. The following lunchtime you'll be transferred back to Bucharest via Sinaia and its beautiful Peles Castle which used to house the Royal Family.

The Mighty Bear Tracking Experience

Our fantastic bear tracking mini-break combines a stay in the fascinating city of Bucharest and the thrill of looking for bears in their natural habitat. In Bucharest you will have the opportunity to explore the city's interesting past and enjoy the lively nightlife of this fast evolving city. The next day you'll travel through the beautiful Transylvanian country landscape via Sinaia and the wonderful Peles Castle to the medieval town of Brasov. After lunch you will visit a bear hide where there is a 90% chance of having the opportunity to see bears in their natural habitat. The following morning you will be up early to track bears at dusk where your professional tracker will tell you all you need to know. Following your morning adventure you will visit the eerie Bran (aka Dracula's) Castle before heading back to Bucharest for your final night.

Lynx & Wolf Tracking

When you arrive in Bucharest you will be taken to one of our lovely, centrally located preferred hotels in the heart of the Lipscani district where you can explore the city and soak in the lively night scene. The following morning you will travel through the stunning mountain landscape to the town of Sinaia where you will visit the beautifully regal Peles Castle before continuing on to the charming Saxon town of Brasov where you will have lunch. Afterwards you will get your first opportunity to track the lynx and wolf at dawn and possibily see these very private animals in their natural habitat, a thoroughly unique experience. The following morning you will go tracking once again but this time at dusk before travelling to the legendary Bran Castle which is also known as Dracula's Castle. Near Bran you will have the opportunity to enjoy a traditional Romanian lunch before returning to Bucharest.
